How Long Is Temporary?

The sales brochure for our house said, "custom shower." That was not the primary selling point for me. It's a lovely tiled in rectangle with a big opening. We asked the builder if it was suppose to have a shower curtain, he wasn't sure.

Let me tell you, it's a little drafty and the floor gets a little wet if you shower without a curtain in the "custom shower."

A trip to Home Depot later, we came back with a shower rod and a "temporary" $7.00 shower curtain. I wasn't sure what I wanted to put up.

Two years later.
I'm still not sure, but the "temporary" shower curtain isn't cutting it anymore. It's disgusting. As you know, I'm not afraid to show you all the nitty gritty in my reality checks. Two years is too long. Yuck!

Quick replacement.
On a trip to Walmart I picked up a Canopy white waffle weave shower curtain for $19.99. Not my typical cheap find, but I was a little desperate. I'm still not sure if it's what I'm looking for, but I'm much happier....and so is my shower.

How long does "temporary" last for you? Sometimes a quick change is for the better! Enjoy!
