Pink Room Reveal

I never imagined a pink room.  Now my 2-year-old daughter has one.  Okay, it's pink things in the room....no pink walls. It's still a work in progress, but I'm finished for now.  Come take a look.  The ENTIRE room was done for around $250

 Some Other Views of Now:
The mirror I made and the chair where I read to Chewy.
Thanks to YoungHouseLove for the inspiration for the drapes and frame hanging.
Chewy loves her room!

If you look at the during and now photos, you can tell we tried a couple of bed arrangements.  It wasn't easy for Chewy to access her toys in the baskets when the bed was between the windows.  This Now arrangement gives her easy access to her toys and allows for a better flow in the moderate sized room (10x13).  She has a large carpet space in front of her reading chair and next to her closets to play also.

I'm still looking for a light fixture and some more meaningful accessories.  We'll probably hang some hooks near her mirror to hang up more of her "dress-up" stuff.  Biker Boy is also going to put up shelves for storage in her second closet that is located directly behind her reading chair.  There will probably be lots of additions and subtractions as Chewy grows up.  It's a work in progress!

  2. Thank you! It was a lot of work, but I love that my daughter loves it. We had fun picking out fabric together and arranging her baby dolls and dress up clothes in baskets. I'm not much of a girly girl, but I'm totally enjoying having a girly girl!
