Thanksgiving Dressing Recipe

This recipe is funny, but it's mostly a great memory for me.

When I was visiting my mom once, she told me she wanted to read me a recipe.  She started to read the recipe and was laughing after the ingredients.  I was laughing because my mom was laughing, not because I heard the punchline.  My mom was laughing so hard she could hardly read the recipe and I was laughing so hard at her laughing that my eyes were watering.  So funny!  I'll always remember that.

THANKSGIVING DRESSING
A recipe from the Church of the Ascension cookbook "The Fruit of the Spirit."

4 eggs, beaten
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
2 c. bread crumbs
1 c. sliced celery
1 c. uncooked popcorn
2 c. rice

Mix and stuff bird. Bake at 375 degrees in the oven. When 3 hours are up, get the HELL out of the kitchen. The popcorn is going to blow the butt off the bird.
