Costco Favorites

Oh, Costco is the almond butter to my jelly. The fish in my fish taco. The hummus to my cracker. I have a thing for Costco. I really, really, really….seem to enjoy it. Yes, I like it.

Are you a Costco member? Have some favorites there? I know products change and vary from store to store. But I’m going to showcase a few of the things that seem to remain constant at the store I frequent. Frequent probably a little too much. Good thing the kids like Costco. I think they just go for the samples....and the occassional hotdog.  Did you know you could practically feed your kid lunch there with all the samples?

Some of my favorite Costco items:

Almond Butter

Peanut butter is rare here now. Almond butter, yum! Just squished almonds….with nothing added. Perfect! We have almond butter and jelly sandwiches…A LOT!

Milton Multi-Grain Crackers

Yummy, yummy snack. Or lunch when you put some hummus on them. We grab a few of these crackers before heading off on a bike ride. Just the right amount of crisp, yummy taste, and salt to compensate for ah….sweating.

Salmon and Tilapia

Fish makes up the majority of meat that we eat. That salmon is by far the best salmon we have ever ate. It’s marinated to perfection and easy to cook. Throw it on the grill, skin side down, and you don’t even have to flip it. The kids love it! The Tilapia is a little “spicy” for the kids taste, but that doesn’t keep them from eating it. Baked in the oven and accompanied with some veggies, it’s the perfect meal. Sometimes I chop up the fish and serve it in a soft tortilla with a bunch of fixings for “fish tacos.” Yum.

Pot Stickers

We actually had these for dinner the other night with a salad. Easy to make and often requested by the children. Chewy even requested them for her birthday dinner. We’ll give that another, “yum.”  These are my backup plan when I don't want to cook much.

Grape Juice

Not having to make juice from concentrate in the morning…..priceless. At least in my house. And this is the best grape juice ever. Plus, grape juice is good for you. Chewy’s just waiting for the day she turns 4 and is allowed to have a cup of juice in the morning. This is definitely Scooter’s favorite juice. Plus it’s 100% juice. Biker Boy and I both give it two thumbs up. Yummy. (Can I say that enough?)

I won't keep going on and on and on and on with my Costco favorites.  I could.  But it's your turn.  What do you get at Costco a lot?  Any favorites?  I'll take some recommendations and I might even try them.  (That's how we found out about the grape juice and potstickers!)  Enjoy your week!  And your favorite Costco items!

Psst...I am not affiliated with Costco, nor was I compensated for this post.  I just really like Costco and spend my own money there.

  1. My husband has been wanting to try the Tilapia there. He's bought Sam's before and enjoyed it.

I'll have to look into those multi-grain crackers. They look yummy!

  2. We just got a Costco in Burnsville!! It opened about a week ago. I haven't been yet, but I can't wait to check it out. We have a Sam's in Apple Valley and we're members but I'm not in love with it. I was wondering if Costco would have more natural food items. Based on this post, looks like it.
So... awful snow here now. Sofa and two chairs may wait a few days. :)

  3. We use to be members of Sam's and Costco, but dropped the Sam's. I love Costco! They have a lot of natural and organic foods at a great cost. We love the organic carrots and apples. Also the organic oatmeal and quinoa. Yum! And the bread without corn syrup and other additives!
