K.I.S.S. = Keep It Simple Silly

You may know "KISS" with a different ending, but we like to keep it silly around here.

I often have to remind myself to keep it simple and sometimes silly.

Our Easter decor is minimal.  Simple.  Silly.

We've got the stuffed bunnies and plastic eggs that seem to come out every year.  The plastic eggs are strewn all over the house and the dog seems to think that the bunnies are dog toys (even though they're larger than him).

On an errand run to Wal-Mart yesterday we picked up two bags of jellybeans and a bunch of tulips.  Chewy, of course, picked pink tulips.

I simply and easily arranged them in a cup.  Then I set the cup in a bowl that was a wedding gift and only glimpses daylight about once a year.  Jelly beans filled in the empty spaces.  Children could easily do this, though they might eat more jelly beans that way.

I had the bowl setting on the table, but it kept getting in the way of seeing across the table. So I set it up on the $5 basket I also picked up at Wal-Mart.  (You read that correctly!  It was on clearance for $5!  I should have gotten more.)

I haven't caught the kids sneaking any jellybeans yet.  I have caught the dog checking it out.  I seem to be sneaking way too many jelly beans.  Yum!

I'm not the only one to do jellybean decor.  I just Googled it.  Even Martha Stewart does it here

But it's easy!  And yummy!  Good thing I took pictures not too long after making it!

Any simple, silly, yummy, or easy decor your way?
