Making Paperdolls With Children

Grab a large piece of paper. Tape a bunch together. Use the backside of wrapping paper. Even a cardboard box. I used paper that came in a package.  A little reusing!

Lay those children down and trace them. Try not to get marker on them.  I did on one, whoops.  It was a permanent marker too.

Then give them washable markers, crayons, or pencils and see how they decorate themselves! (Did you get the washable part?)
Don't forget to trace the favorite "lovey" item.  Bunny Bear in our case.

Be sure to mark their names and dates on the paper.

Hang them, roll them and give away, fold up and put away, or take a picture and put it in a digital file.

Cherish those little paperdolls! (You know I mean the real ones, right?)

Enjoy your day!

  1. These are so cute and your kids did a great job! I still have the last ones my kids did - had them hanging up "forever."

  2. I meant to add that I appreciate you stopping by my blog and leaving me a note about the Geronimo Stilton books. You've got some great money saving decorating tips! Love the new capiz chandelier.

Thank you for taking the time to comment, I appreciate it. Comments will be moderated eventually. Computer use only occurs when kiddos are asleep or otherwise occupied. Thanks for your patience.
