Christmas Break

We've started Christmas Break off with a bang.  No school on the last day of school before break.

SNOW DAY!  We got over a  foot of snow.  I took Scooter home early from school yesterday because it was snowing up a storm and I was worried about his bus getting up the hill to our house.  You know what?  The bus was an hour late and got stuck on the hill.  A tow truck had to come and push it up.  And I only know this because Biker Boy got stuck behind it.  And it only took Biker Boy nearly an hour to get out of our driveway this morning.  He's persistent.  I would have given up after 5 tries.  He probably took about 10X more than that.

We played nearly all day.  We're in now for our 2nd break.  Mommy demanded a break.  We played lots.  I'm pooped.  How do kids last so long in the snow when they're soaked to the bone?  I'll put some photos in this post, but I'm not touching them up.  I'm that pooped.  Amazing I'm even writing.

I finished my homemade gifts for the kiddos.  It's a tradition, I make them something ever year.   You can check out last year's gift for Chewy here and for Scooter here

Chewy is getting some of those Easy DIY Barrettes

Scooter is getting some graphic t-shirts.  I used some free graphics and made some of my own and put them on iron-on transfers.  Cause Scooters likes "cool" shirts with real things on them.  I don't care if he just wears them to bed.  I think they are "cool."  Especially the ones with the Legomen.  And don't worry Lego....I took the pictures of our own Lego people and I will not be selling and using these for profit.  I only made 2 shirts for my boy.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.  I'm going to be enjoying what Christmas is all about and taking a bloggy break while my boy is out of school.  Perhaps I'll see you in the new year.  Maybe.
And the stockings were hung by the niche with care.....

Merry Christmas!
