Bubbles of Fun

The other night while Biker Boy was off on a group mountain bike ride, we played with bubbles.  Big Bubbles.  Fun Bubbles.

I saw the bubble recipe over at A Soft Place to Land and we gave it a try, since I had all the ingredients on hand.  4 cups water, 1 cup dish soap, and 1/4 cup light corn syrup.  And we used it all.  Lots of bubbles.

It's so much more fun than the bubble solution you can buy.  We used our $1 bubble wands from Target.  They might still have some there if you check it out.  Big bubble wands are the best for big bubbles.

Chewy made bubbles.

Scooter made bubbles.

Eventually the kids were just beating each other with bubbles and were giggling like crazy.  It was fun!  And now we only have 4 days until school starts.

What's your countdown?  Do you have a favorite bubble recipe?
